I Corrupt Moral Altar sono una band 'arrabbiata' e altrettanto arrabbiato sarà il disco Mechanical Tides, che vedrà la luce per Season of Mist il prossimo 18 luglio.
Provenienti da una città industriale quale la Liverpool non beatlesiana ma post-Thatcher, mischiano il punk di settantiana memoria a sludge, grind e hardcore. Un'aggressività sparata in faccia sin dal primo demo Needle Drugs, fino agli EP del 2013 Luciferian Deathcult e Whiskey Sierra, che hanno ricevuto ottime critiche in tutta la Gran Bretagna.
La band esce adesso con questo Mechanical Tides, che si preannuncia furioso ed energico.
